She is a marketing executive renowned for transforming the Upfront marketplace and championing industry-wide change, while taking calculated risks – she’s truly been the ideal fit for Twitter.

Yet despite these obstacles, Yaccarino is seen by her peers as being unflappable about her new position and confident in her abilities. “Linda will guide the Peacock team through any challenges we encounter,” states an executive at another media conglomerate. She will serve as “the steady hand.” Whether that means keeping teams on task or negotiating advertising sales deals – Linda has experience to handle both, while remaining unafraid to take risks and seek new opportunities.
Global Advertising & Partnerships
As chairman of global advertising and partnerships, Yaccarino heads one of the world’s largest ad sales businesses. Her team strives to deliver an optimal experience for marketers and audiences across platforms while driving innovation in this $70 billion video industry.
She led a major overhaul of NBCUniversal’s ad sales operation and spearheaded industry-wide debates around data gaps as audiences have moved online. Furthermore, she spearheaded programs like BOLD (for hiring veterans) and Scene in Color (a partnership with Target to highlight emerging BIPOC creatives in film).
Yaccarino will now lead a newly established data strategy team under a soon-to-be-named chief data officer and develop an information development strategy across NBCUniversal while creating deeper pathways into commerce. She will still report directly to CEO Jeff Shell.
